{Scrap OUT}

Once again it's been a crazy time and I've hardly had time to blog!  You should see my laundry piles!!  I promise there will be more blogs of the German's trip to the US, but there are more recent things that need to be put up first.  Yea for me!

Last weekend was the weekend us girls wait for the entire year.  Yep, it's just that much fun!!  We get together in April to scrap at a scrap-a-thon.  I guess that's the best way to describe it!  We scrap from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon in an Embassy Suites just off Met-calf & I-435.  We try to squeeze in a little outing on the town too, since we don't have the kiddo's!!

Happy Hour!  :)
This year there were 4 of us in our group of girls.  (three floors total in the hotel) Besides myself there was Angela, Amelia, and Angie.  I met Angela and Amelia during my lamaze class when Brent and I were expecting Ethan.  Yep, that's right.  I have known them for over 6 years and 4 of those years we've lived three hours apart!  They are the greatest.  Angie was our newbee!  She started scrapping this weekend and we've gotten her hooked!!  She's a blast to be with and super sweet!

Angie's husband made us the fab shirts!  Should have taken a picture of the back too.  The back was like a Master Card commercial!  So fun!!!

Amelia, Angela, Tiffany, & Angie (a fun group of gals!)

Besides the massages, pedicures, workout room, happy hour and YUMMY breakfast we did scrapbook!
Angela is into digital scrapping, so she got the couch, plus she was way cleaner too!

Our neighbors next door were awesome! We were next to them last year too, and we've decided that we really enjoy each other's company so we're requesting to be next to each other from here on out!!
Look how cleaner their room was!
After a full day of scrapping it was time to head out to the Cheese Cake Factory!  YUM, that's all I have to say!!

My very tasty raspberry Martini.

So, we wanted a picture of us at the restaurant, and after SEVERAL tries the waiter took this!  He just couldn't figure out my camera, and I even put it in auto for him!  Just push the button is all we kept saying!! And, he didn't even get our cute skirts!! Well, we had fun anyway. I had to do so much post production to make it look this good!

Such a busy day requires time for pedicures.  Amelia and I were the only ones that decided to get one. Girls you missed out!!

My color:

The night went way into the wee hours of the morning and sometime later we decided to eat our cheese cake.  Sooooo good!

The weekend was such a blast that by 2:00 on Sunday, you just don't want it to end!  I finished 18 pages, which included finishing my Vegas book from my trip two years ago, and starting our Germany trip from 2005.  I can't wait for next year to scrap again with the gals.  Girls, I think we should start doing the one in October.  Once a year is NOT enough!!
